Introducing the 2016 Chevrolet Impala
The Impala has been a hot seller since its initial release, and Chevrolet’s flagship sedan has been upgraded and enhanced for 2016. Whether you’re looking for a new car that offers luxury and performance or simply a reliable ride for your daily commute, the latest Impala has a lot to offer. Here are five of our favourites new features.
1. The 2016 Chevrolet Impala loves your iPhone.
If you’re an iPhone fan, the 2016 Chevrolet Impala may well become your favourite smartphone accessory. The 2016 Impala features full compatibility with Apple CarPlay, so you can control your phone and enjoy your favourite tunes no matter where you go. The Chevy Impala also includes wireless smartphone charging capability, so you need never be caught with a dead (phone!) battery again.
2. New colours for 2016
Having upgraded and enhanced the vehicle’s exterior, the newest version of the Chevy Impala now features a number of brand new paint colours – including metallic finishes in Citron Green, Siren Red, Green Envy, Heather Grey and Mosaic Black. These new shades are in addition to the other standard colours already in the Impala stable.
3. There’s a new “Midnight Edition” of the 2016 Chevrolet Impala.
Looking for something a little less… Subtle? A new option for the Chevy Impala LT is the dramatic Impala Midnight Edition. With its jet black exterior (and interior!), black grille and surround, and 19-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels with black accents, it’s basically Chevrolet’s version of the Batmobile.
4. The new Chevrolet Impala combines power and fuel-efficiency.
Chevy has designed the latest version of the Impala with both power and fuel efficiency in mind. The popular 3.6-litre V6 engine is available – that power plant provides a horsepower rating of 305, making it one of the most powerful in its class. At the same time, the newest version of the Impala is designed for fuel efficiency, so you can enjoy all that horsepower without breaking the bank at the pumps.
5. The 2016 Chevrolet Impala boasts new safety features.
The 2016 Chevy Impala has been enhanced with a number of new safety features. Those safety enhancements include 10 standard size airbags, adaptive cruise control for better safety on the highway, a side blind spot alert system, a rear camera and park assist and a rear cross traffic alert. GM says it’s committed to providing assistive technologies on their new car lineup, and buyers can expect to see even more in future models.
