My Two Cents: What does Canada need to be the Happiest Country in the World?
The first ever World Happiness Report was recently published and Canada is ranked fifth on the happiness scale.
The Earth Institute recently published the first ever World Happiness Report. Apparently, the happiest countries in the world are in Northern Europe and Canada is ranked fifth.
Turns out it’s “not just wealth that makes people happy: Political freedom, strong social networks and an absence of corruption are together more important than income in explaining well-being differences between the top and bottom countries. At the individual level, good mental and physical health, someone to count on, job security and stable families are crucial.” What do you think? How happy would you say you are on a scale from 0 to 10? What do you think Canada and Canadians need to be the happiest country on earth?
