Sautéed Shrimp with Parsley
Not a fan of seafood? This simple sautéed shrimp with parsley recipe will surely make you change your mind!
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 lb large shrimp shelled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup white vermouth
- 3 tbsp parsley chopped
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 garlic cloves chopped
- sea salt to taste

Instructions
- In a large skillet, warm the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and pepper flakes and cook for a few seconds to release the flavours. Do not let garlic brown.
- Add the shrimp and sauté until they lose their translucence, about 90 seconds on each side.
- Add the vermouth and cook another minute. Sprinkle with parsley and salt. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
Suggestion: Try this sauté with rice and braised escarole, or, for a more sophisticated dinner, serve the shrimp on a bed of black (squid ink) pasta.
