Pipe Wrench
Turns threaded pipes.
The upper jaw is adjusted by turning the knurled knob. Both jaws have serrated teeth for gripping power. When using the wrench, turn it so that you apply pressure on the movable jaw. That jaw is spring-loaded and slightly angled; it allows you to release the grip and reposition the wrench, without readjusting the jaw, when you remove the pressure.
