“There is nothing like celebrating Canada Day during a beautiful sunset at Sauble Beach, Ont.,” says Petra Schneider of Waterloo, Ont. “Picture is my daughter, Erika.”

Flying High
Robert Piquette of Pierrefonds, Que., writes, ”Several years ago, my then 11-year-old daughter Jessica and I spent a great day flying a kite in nearby Kirkand. This diamond kite is one from our own collection.”

Jeanette Grimshaw of Hamilton writes, ”I snapped this pic prior to the singing of ”O Canada” at a Hamilton Tiger-Cats football game—this enormous flag is used before every Ticat home game.
